How Do I Get a Quote?
It can be a bit overwhelming to get a quote for a sign, vinyl work, or multiple projects at once. If you’re wondering where to start, below are the guidelines we run by to make the entire process a bit less scary.
In the QCA?
If you live close to the Quad Cities, you’ve started in the right place. We are a local company from the QCA. We work within approximately a 1.5 hour radius of Davenport, Iowa, give or take a few miles depending on the project. We work with many different signage types – exterior, interior, ADA – and also work on many different vinyl projects – wall, window, and door wraps as well as vehicle wraps. In addition to fabrication and design, we can remove old signage or vinyl, install signage and vinyl, and also replace and repair issues with lighting, signs, etc.
Make Contact with Us
To start the process of getting a quote, we suggest filling out our online form located on our contact page. This form allows us to gather information about you such as your name, company name (if needed) as well as the projects you are looking to have completed. It is always helpful to include pictures of the area you plan to place the signage or vinyl and also any pictures or details of the sign or vinyl you would like installed. If you happen to have overall measurements, they can be included. We will eventually send a measure technician to your location (if an on-site job) to gather correct measurements. If, however, you are looking to have a vehicle wrap installed, we may have you stop by our location with the vehicle so we can take measurements and see the vehicle in person to note any irregularities on the vehicle, such as dents, rust, or added modifications.
If you prefer to stop into our office at 1320 W Kimberly Road in Davenport, we are open 8 – 4 and would be happy to talk in person. We also take phone calls at (563) 362-5841.
All in the Details
Once we have received your form or we have chatted with you in person or on the phone, we can begin the quote process. We can give rough estimates of the overall pricing, but there are many variables. Having accurate measurements of the placement of the piece is essential. Quoting a 2’x4’ sign is very different from quoting an 8’x12’ sign. If we have all the needed information, we can start on the quote.
For smaller projects, where all the details and artwork are provided, we can have a quote back within 24 hours. However, for larger projects that come with numerous pieces or those without artwork, the quoting takes longer. We tend to work on the design of the project before finalizing a quote. We want to make sure we have a good idea of what you are looking to have completed. Different projects can vary widely as some people come with artwork 100% completed; other people may come with a logo, a basic concept, or have us make a design ourselves (which we love to do). We will continue to work on the design until we have what you want. This may be a simple back and forth of one proof, or it may take a few proofs to get the piece to look exactly how you’d like, but we will work with you on this process!
More options can be given as well. You may be a business looking for a new sign on the building, but if you aren’t quite sure if you would like channel letters, lighting, or something else, we have to talk through a solution. Budget also plays a large role. Different materials and signage cost different amounts of money, so if we know what a budget is up front, we can see what can be included within its constraints.
For example, you may have wanted a full-vehicle wrap, but upon hearing the price, realize it’s out of your budget. That doesn’t mean you can’t get anything done though – have you thought about a partial vehicle wrap or even doing graphics and a logo decal? Never be afraid to ask what work can be completed within a set budget or explain what the priorities of a project may be. We want to listen and help your business to grow.
We’re Ready!
Once you have received the quote from us, you can decide to move forward with the project, halt the project, or make a few modifications. Modifications may include changing materials, changing overall design elements, or even the timeline with which the project needs to be completed.
When you have a quote and an approved proof, we require 50% of the payment before we start the fabrication process. Then, we are all set on getting you the signage or vinyl projects that you would like completed! We hope that you will fill out a form to get started and if you have more questions, just ask – we would love to help!
