Over the past two years, we’ve made some massive changes. Here’s a look at where we’ve landed and who’s joined the team.
New Ownership
In October of 2024, we were purchased by a new owner, Greg Holmquist. He already owned two other companies in the Quad Cities, PSS Mailing Solutions and Dimensional Graphics. Those two companies focus on design, print, mail, and shipping, and they had room in their building for us.
Our New Building in Davenport
In January of 2025, we completed our move into our new building at 1320 W. Kimberly Road in Davenport, Iowa. It wasn’t a far hop, but new space brings a new approach to completing projects. Over the last year, we expanded our operations within the building to give ourselves a bit more room.
Putting Our Own Signs to Work
We finally got to do for ourselves what we do for our customers every day. Earlier this summer, we put up our Riverbend Signworks channel letters on the front of the building and our circle logo on the side.
In just the past two weeks, we added wall vinyl to our lobby and perforated window vinyl to the outside of the building for all three companies: Riverbend Signworks, PSS, and Dimensional Graphics.
We still have a few more signage projects to finish, like adding Riverbend Signworks to the tenant sign, but we’re looking better and better these days.
Meet Our Newest Team Members
Along with the changes to our building, we’ve added a few new hires over the past few months. You can meet everyone on our About page, but here are our two newest.
Addy, Vinyl Assistant
Addy joined us earlier this summer as a vinyl assistant in production. It was her first job in the vinyl world, and she learned the tricks of the trade fast. She’s a very detail-oriented person, so she loves detail-oriented work, and she thinks the whole vinyl installation process is fun. Addy is now a vital part of vinyl production and installation. Outside of work, she enjoys archery and crocheting, and she lived in Mexico for 9 months before coming to work here.
Shay, Vinyl and Sign Pro
Shay is our latest hire. She brings years of vinyl and sign experience from both the Quad Cities and the Dubuque area, though she started out in carpentry. She’s wrapped vehicles, windows, and a whole lot more. A Long Grove native, Shay lives on family land with her 2 horses, 2 cats, and 1 dog. She loves vinyl work because it’s meticulous, hands-on, and keeps her focused.
What’s Next
We plan to keep improving our space. More prominent vehicle decals and wraps for our own fleet are high on the to-do list. We’re also pretty excited about how far we’ve come.
